Our 4-storey house, recommended by the Lonely Planet and Time Out Guides to Croatia, provides ideal accommodation on Vis Island for groups of up to six and is available from just €500 per week. Located in the historic centre of Vis Town, it's the perfect base to explore Vis, Croatia's most beautiful and remote island. Lying 40 km off the coast of Dalmatia, Vis is the Mediterranean as it used to be. You won't find hotel complexes or rampant commercialisation on Vis. What you will find are the friendliest of people, unspoilt, secluded coves, delicious sea-food, stunning scenery and the cleanest waters in the Adriatic.
 
Vis is a throwback to a simpler way of life before mass-tourism was invented - the island only opened up to tourists in 1989. You can relax, chill out and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere safe in the knowledge that you are somewhere the rest of the world isn't. You can hike, bicycle, scooter, drive, swim, snorkel, dive, sail, admire the views, sunbathe or simply watch the world go by, glass of plavac in hand.
